  • Work Experience – You must have a minimum of one year of work experience in a skilled occupation categorized under Canada’s National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill level 0, A or B.
  • Language Ability – You have to score the minimum 6 per band in IELTS in all four abilities – Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking
  • Education – You must have a minimum of a completed certificate, diploma, or degree from a secondary institution or post-secondary institution. It must be assessed by an authorized assessing body by getting an ECA – Educational Credential Assessment
  • Proof of funds – You have to show that you have enough funds to support yourself for the move to canada or any accompanying family members.
  • Must be admissible to Canada

  • ECA fees – $227 CAD to $322 CAD (per person)
  • IELTS fees – INR 14,000 ($250 CAD) (per person)

 

Government Fees

 

  • Application processing fees – $825 CAD (per person)
  • Right of Permanent Residence fees – $500 CAD (per person)
  • Include a dependent child(ren) – $225 (per child)

 

Other Fees

 

  • Medical – $70 CAD approx. (per person)

Other than this, you must also be required to show some proof of funds. If you have a valid job-offer OR application through CEC, you are exempted from this requirement.

Language Skills (Maximum 28 points)

An immigrant who want to move in Canada, they need to communicate in one or both of Canada’s official languages (English and French). These 28 points are awarded to the candidate based on language skills in both languages. Points are awarded based on the ability in: Writing Listening, Speaking, and Reading.

Language skills are points are awarded in the following manner:

For candidates who have pursued education (Certificate, diploma, or degree) outside of Canada, they must have an ECA (Education Credential Assessment) that proves the equivalency to the Canadian education system.

NOC is a list of occupations in the Canadian local labour market and it is majorly used to classify jobs. NOC code describes duties, skills, work settings, and talents for various kinds of jobs.

  • For continuous, paid, full-time work (minimum of 30 hours/week) that is:
    • Not seasonal
    • For a minimum of one year
  • In an occupation that is listed as NOC Skill type-level A or B

Adaptability (Maximum 10 points)

Candidate and their spouse or common-law partner can earn points for their move to Canada in the following manner:
